Intimacy

Jessica was drawn to intimacy work through her deep desire for every person in a production to have agency. Her work begins before anyone sets foot in the rehearsal room, with open conversations with the director and performers, establishing boundaries so that the entire creative process can run smoothly. Collaboration is at the center of her work. Her goal is to create an environment where performers feel comfortable exploring the director’s vision as active participants.

Jessica began her training in intimacy for the stage in 2023 with Intimacy Directors and Coordinators. In 2026, she received her Intimacy Choreographer for Live Performance Certification from Intimacy Professionals Association. She specializes in Intimacy in Opera. She is Mental Health First Aid certified for adults and youth; and has other supplementary trainings in: anti-racism; gender identity; sexual orientation; ally-ship and advocacy; implicit bias; anti-harassment; anti-sexual harassment; ethics and diversity; sensitivity; kink for the stage; trauma stewardship; and mediation and conflict resolution training.
